Le passage du temps a d\u00e9termin\u00e9 la transformation de cet espace, entre 1982 et 1984, dans le dernier atelier de Salvador Dal\u00ed et dans le mausol\u00e9e de sa muse.<\/p>\n<p>Lorsque Dal\u00ed a achet\u00e9 le ch\u00e2teau en 1969, il \u00e9tait tr\u00e8s d\u00e9t\u00e9rior\u00e9, avec des toits tomb\u00e9s, des fissures importantes et le jardin dans un \u00e9tat semi-sauvage. Tout cela a donn\u00e9 au complexe un aspect romantique, ce que les Dal\u00ed ont essay\u00e9 de maintenir dans la restauration qu&rsquo;ils avaient command\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>Aspect consolid\u00e9 ext\u00e9rieur d\u00e9labr\u00e9, sans cacher les cicatrices caus\u00e9es par le passage du temps. Salvador Dal\u00ed a utilis\u00e9 les murs et les plafonds semi-ruin\u00e9s de mani\u00e8re tr\u00e8s intelligente, cr\u00e9ant des espaces insoup\u00e7onn\u00e9s aux dimensions tr\u00e8s contrast\u00e9es; il con\u00e7oit la d\u00e9coration int\u00e9rieure \u00e0 partir de repr\u00e9sentations picturales sur les murs, fausses architectures, textile baroque, antiquit\u00e9s, symbolisme de nature romantique&#8230; Le r\u00e9sultat est un lieu clos, myst\u00e9rieux, intime, aust\u00e8re et sobre, avec des espaces d&rsquo;une grande beaut\u00e9 comme l&rsquo;ancien cuisine am\u00e9nag\u00e9e en salle de bain ou salle de piano.<\/p>\n<p>Le ch\u00e2teau de P\u00fabol est une continuation de Portlligat avec sa propre personnalit\u00e9. C&rsquo;est le cadeau de Dal\u00ed \u00e0 Gala, qu&rsquo;elle adore et qui ne peut y acc\u00e9der sans sa permission \u00e9crite.
